Gerhard Schwarz
Gerhard “Geri” Schwarz (*1951) is a Swiss-Austrian economist, publicist and author. He was head of the economics editorial team at the NZZ, was Director of Avenir Suisse and has been President of the Progress Foundation since 2018. He is a member of the Mont Pèlerin Society and former chairman of the Friedrich A. von Hayek Society. He has received several awards for his journalistic work, including the Ludwig Erhard Prize.
