Stefan Gerlach
Stefan Gerlach (*1958) is a Swiss economist and has been Chief Economist at EFG Bank Zurich since 2016. He was previously Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Ireland (2011-2015) and Executive Director of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. He also served as Secretary of the BIS Committee on the Global Financial System and taught at Goethe University Frankfurt. His research focuses on monetary policy, central banking, inflation and international financial markets.
