Sibylle Lewitscharoff
Sibylle Lewitscharoff (*1954-†2023) was a German writer known for her linguistically virtuoso novels with philosophical depth. She received the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize for her debut “Pong” (1998). Her best-known works include «Montgomery» (2003), «Consummatus» (2006), «Apostoloff» (2009), «Blumenberg» (2011) and «Das Pfingstwunder» (2016). In 2013, she was awarded the Georg Büchner Prize.
