Oliver Zimmer
Oliver Zimmer (*1963) is a Swiss historian and Professor of Modern European History at the University of Oxford. His research interests include citizenship, nationalism, liberalism and urban and contemporary history. He is a Sanderson Fellow at University College Oxford and a Fellow of the Historisches Kolleg München. Zimmer publishes regularly on issues of political culture and the history of democracy and is also active as a journalist and consultant.
