Matt Grossmann
Matt Grossmann is an American political scientist, professor at Michigan State University and director of the Institute for Public Policy & Social Research. He is a Senior Fellow at the Niskanen Center in Washington, D.C., and host of the podcast The Science of Politics. He specializes in political parties, election campaigns, public opinion and political decision-making processes. He is the author of numerous books, including “Polarized by Degrees” (2024), “How Social Science Got Better” (2021) and “Red State Blues” (2019).
