Martin Killias
Martin Killias (*1948) is a Swiss criminal law expert and criminologist who has researched and taught at the Universities of Lausanne, Zurich and St. Gallen. He was a part-time federal judge (1984-2008) and shaped international comparative statistics on gun ownership and juvenile delinquency. Killias was founding president of the European Society of Criminology and co-chair of the Campbell Collaboration Crime & Justice Group. He has received the Sellin-Glueck Medal and the Beccaria Gold Medal, among others.
