Lino Guzzella
Lino Guzzella (*1957) is a Swiss-Italian professor of thermotronics at ETH Zurich and was President of ETH from 2015 to 2018. He conducts research into energy-saving drive systems and developed the hydrogen PAC Car II with his team, which set an efficiency world record in 2005. Guzzella is a Fellow of IFAC and IEEE and a member of SATW. He has received several awards, including the IEEE Industry Award, the Energy Globe Award and the “Golden Owl” Teaching Award.
