Leon de Winter
Leon de Winter (*1954) is a Dutch writer, filmmaker and columnist. He has been writing about current political and social issues for Die WELT since May 2025. His best-known works include «Hoffmans Hunger», «SuperTex» and «Der Himmel von Hollywood». De Winter is considered an important representative of freedom of expression and was awarded the WELT Literature Prize for his complete works in 2002.
